LITTLE CLAPSADDLE WITCH

Ellen Clapsaddle was a very popular illustrator in the early part of the 20th century and she owned her own greeting card company. She created thousands of different designs, many of which featured cute children, which were her specialty. Her cards were sold from early in the century up to WWI. She was actually trapped in Germany during the war and she came back to the United States a broken woman and she did not create any more designs, but her cards are still popular with collectors.
